My strong advise for all those who think to visit Venice for a day is possible but the truth is you are cheating yourself, just to reach Venice by train minimum takes from 2.30 minutes to a total 4.0 hours if you are coming from Rome in a fast speed train, let say you are there almost at noon and then you have to buy a tickets for the Vaporetto, to reach Piazza St. Marco it going to take a considerable amount of time, and then if you didn't buy the tickets anticipate for any attractions long lines of people will surprise you.

Venice deserve at list minimum in a very tide agenda, 2 nights stay or 3 nights is so much to see and walk and navigate around Venice.

Mi consejo para todos aquellos que piensan visitar Venecia por un día es posible, pero la verdad es que te estás engañando a ti mismo, solo para llegar a Venecia en tren de alta velocidad, toma mínimo de 2.30 horas a un total de 4.0 horas si vienes de Roma de forma rápida tren de alta velocidad, digamos que estás allí casi al mediodía  y luego tienes que comprar un boleto para el Vaporetto, para llegar a Piazza San Marco va a tomar un tiempo considerable, y luego, si no compraste los boletos, anticipadamente para cualquier atracción, largas filas de personas te sorprenderán.

Venecia se merece en la agenda un minimo de 2 noches de estancia o 3 noches hay mucho para ver y caminar y navegar por Venecia.

What to do first? My experience teach me the following is many palaces around offering an amazing collection of historical painting, sculptures, wonderful  tapestry's, furniture's  etc.    But your time is limited and you have a long agenda, so go first for attractions in Piazza St. Marco is the most convenient.

In the Piazza you have Correr Museum, Palazzo Ducale,Basilica St. Marco.

And of course the Piazza it self which is very scenic for photos and walk around the shops and cafes.

Also getting lost in Venice is something really nice, because once you start walking in to this romantics tiny streets, bridges, parks, workshops, you discover another way the how locals live.

I will recommend to you to have a real experience like a world traveler Jet- set visiting the oldest Café in Europe and the most famous in Venice Cafe Florian, an essential presence under the Procuratie Nuove in St Mark’s Square, is considered the oldest Café in Europe, a symbol of the city of Venice. It was opened on 29th December 1720 by Floriano Francesconi.

Could be the most expensive cup of coffee you're going to get but the experience deserve it, beautiful vintage interiors elegant, sophisticate, traditional, you can take a seat outside at the piazza and listen to the beautiful tunes of the orchestra and you going to see the parade of personalities and movies stars having coffee, at Café Florian you never know who is going to seat next to you.

Atracciónes de Venecia

¿Qué hacer primero? Mi experiencia me enseñó lo siguiente son muchos palacios que ofrecen una increíble colección de pinturas históricas, esculturas, tapices maravillosos, muebles, etc.   Pero su tiempo es limitado y tiene una agenda larga, así que vaya primero a las atracciones en Piazza San Marco. mas conveniente.

En la Piazza tiene el Museo Correr, el Palazzo Ducale, la Basílica de San Marcos.
Y por supuesto, la Piazza misma, que es muy pintoresca para fotos y caminar por las tiendas y cafés.

También perderse en Venecia es algo realmente agradable, porque una vez que comienzas a caminar en esta romántica calles, puentes, parques, talleres artesanales, descubres otra manera de cómo viven los locales.

Te recomendaré que tengas una experiencia real como un viajero del mundo Jet-set visitando el Café más antiguo de Europa y el más famoso de Venecia. Café Florian, una presencia esencial bajo la Procuratie Nuove en la Plaza de San Marcos, es considerada la cafetería más antigua de Europa, un símbolo de la ciudad de Venecia.

Podría ser la taza de café más cara que va a obtener, pero la experiencia lo merece, hermosos interiores vintage elegantes, sofisticados, tradicionales, puede sentarse afuera en la plaza y escuchar las hermosas melodías de la orquesta e ir para ver el desfile de personalidades y estrellas de cine tomando un café, en Café Florian,Nunca se sabe quién se sentará a tu lado.
