Giudicca

Giudecca is located right across St.Marco   and the only way to reach there is by ferries . Venice has several motorboats which are known as Vaporetto which depart for Giudecca or vice – versa  every hour from several parts of the city.

 Giudecca is a very small island  so you can walk around and explore  and you going to sense the peace and tranquility and a beautiful breathtaking views comparing St.Marco usually you have to deal with thousand of people walking around and it's very noisy and sometime stressful  in the daytime and people in lines to get in to the attractions or restaurants  but once you cross to Giudicca it 's a real Oasis is a paradise for your senses .

Once you reach Giudicca right after you left the Vaporetto stop  just a few steps from there you're going to see a few restaurants with tables out and an amazing menu very modest,very convenient,great service with a million dollar view, any fancy 5* restaurant in the world will desire to have a branch there.

The ideal place to have a little break in between sightseeing and enjoy a wonderful meal.

I will recommend to you to have a real experience like a world traveler Jet- set visiting the oldest Café in Europe and the most famous in Venice Cafe Florian, an essential presence under the Procuratie Nuove in St Mark’s Square, is considered the oldest Café in Europe, a symbol of the city of Venice. It was opened on 29th December 1720 by Floriano Francesconi.

I been visiting Venice many times in the past, but this is the first Time I travel with my partner for life, and every time I step out of the train station tears come out of my eyes for the emotions and the privilege to be there the view is really breath taking.

The less you can carry, the better you will be!

◾Try to dress as inconspicuously as possible.  Avoid expensive jewelry and flashy items that might make you a more attractive target to thieves.

◾Be sure to keep a copy of your passport in a different spot from your original. You might consider making a color scan of it and emailing it to yourself so that you have an electronic copy stored temporarily while you are traveling. Having a copy will make getting a replacement much much easier.

◾When you are waiting on the platform for a train or the metro, do not be so eager to be the first person to get on the train.  Allow the train to arrive, the doors to open and allow the other passengers to get off before you alight.  Try to keep your back to the wall if you can.  Being the first on the train might get you a seat, but you also leave yourself open as a potential target for pickpockets working the platforms.

◾When you arrive on the platform, proceed to the ends of the platform and avoid the crowds that tend to build at the mouth of the entrance of each platform.  Fewer people tend to wait at the ends of the platform, and those cars tend to be less
crowded.
